What is Craniosacral Fascial Therapy?

Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) is a gentle, hands-on therapy that helps the body release deep, stored tension—the kind we hold onto from birth, injury, stress, or simply the wear of everyday life. Using a light, listening touch, I follow where your body is holding and help it unwind, so it can settle, soften, and return to its natural state of ease.

It's one of the gentlest forms of bodywork there is, which is exactly why it's so well suited to the people I love serving most—babies, children, and mothers.

What is fascia, and why does it matter?

Fascia is a continuous web of connective tissue that wraps around every muscle, bone, nerve, and organ in your body—head to toe, in one unbroken sheet. When fascia is relaxed and free, everything moves and functions with ease. But tension in one area can pull on the whole web, creating tightness, discomfort, or restriction somewhere else entirely. CFT works with this web as a whole, gently freeing the places that have been pulling and bracing—often for years.

How a Session Works

There's nothing forceful about CFT. With a soft, attentive touch, I follow your body's own cues and give it the space to release at its own pace. Many people feel deeply relaxed; some feel gentle shifts or warmth; babies often settle, soften, or even fall asleep. The work is led by your body, not imposed on it—I'm simply listening and following.

What CFT Can Support?

If you are living and breathing, you have fascia—so this work can help at every age. A few of the reasons people come in:

For babies & children:

  • Latching and feeding difficulties

  • Torticollis and head-shape concerns (plagiocephaly)

  • Fussiness, discomfort, and trouble settling or sleeping

  • Recovery and comfort after birth, and before or after a frenectomy

For moms & adults:

  • Pregnancy discomfort and postpartum recovery

  • Tension, stiffness, and the physical weight of stress

  • A calmer, more regulated nervous system and a deep sense of rest

Rooted in Prayer

My approach is gentle, intuitive, and rooted in prayer. I believe God designed our bodies with a remarkable, built-in ability to heal, and that this work simply helps remove what's standing in the way. If you'd like prayer to be part of your time here, it's always welcome—and if you'd prefer not, that's honored too. You are cared for either way.

Common Questions

Does it hurt? Not at all. CFT uses an extremely light touch—most people find it deeply relaxing.

Is it safe for newborns? Yes. The gentleness of CFT makes it well suited to even the tiniest babies, in their very first days.

What if I've never done anything like this? That's wonderful—most of my clients are new to it. I'll explain everything as we go, and there's nothing you need to do but rest.

Not sure where to start? Take the quick quiz and I'll point you to the right session.
